“PROPERLY
DESIGNED AND PLEASING HOUSE WILL BE AN ABODE OF GOOD HEALTH,
WEALTH, INTELLIGENCE, CHILDREN, PEACE, HAPPINESS AND WILL
REDEEM ONE FROM DEBT OF OBLIGATIONS. NEGLIGENCE OF
CANONS OF VAASTU WILL RESULT IN UNNECESSARY TRAVELS, BAD NAME,
LOSS OF FAME, SORROWS AND DISSAPPOINTMENTS. THE
CHARACTER OF THE HOUSE BUILT DISREGARDING PRESCRIBED CODES
CANNOT BE DETERMINED. ALL HOUSES, VILLAGES, TOWNS AND
CITIES SHALL BE BUILT AS PER VAASTU SHASTRA, THEREFORE VAASTU
SHILPA SHAASTRA IS BROUGHT INTO LIGHT IN FAVOUR OF, TO THE
SATISFACTION OF, AND FOR THE BETTERMENT AND OVERALL WELFARE OF
THE UNIVERSE”.
The
Indian lore is full of laws given in crystallized form by
scholars in every branch of life. The process by which
such universal laws were arrived at may be unknown to us, but
their application in most cases are found perfect. Mr.
Rajesh Lolienkar is a consulting Engineer and has studied the
subject and carried out research on the subject with
coordination of eminent practicing engineers. This
research was undertaken to understand the link between the
logical application and practical outcome of the same and
concluded his finding in his report. He is also
practicing consultancy on the subject for the last few years
and the feedback from his clients is excellent. Vaastu Shastra is a technique to place you in harmony with
natural elements like water, space, fire, wind and soil of
which all the living things are made on earth and are
interrelated to it. In the past, balance and harmony with
nature to create a sense of mental and physical well being
were the only determinants for planning and construction of a
house. But today building codes are regulatory force in
practice and they are formulated by changing external
constraints of urban environment. It
has now become a fashion of the day, almost a sign of
modernity for our engineers and scientists to say that any
Indian concept of methodology is unscientific or
superstitions. But actually the study of the past
heritage in a prerequisite to understand the present and a
foothold to leap into the future.
